Insight has recognised the need to provide a simple SAM solution to our Mid Market clients (from 250 - 750 auditable devices) to allow them to implement a comprehensive SAM solution in-house.
Elements of SAM in a Box:
Inventory Tool - MicroAUDIT is the Centennial inventory tool utilised by Insight to deliver our SAM in a Box offering. The data from Centennial is clean and reliable and the tool is simple to implement.
Reconciliation of Inventory with Purchase History Data - This involves the implementation of Insight’s License Reconciliation Service (LRS) to determine current licensing status and deliver full license visibility.
License Repository Tool - The output from the reconciliation will be an Insight-developed working spreadsheet to hold andchange purchase history and licensing information following the LRS.
Tool Installation and Training - Insight has a number of fully qualified Centennial Certified engineers who will carry out the toolimplementation and training over a 3-day period at the client site.
Policy Documentation Templates - Insight will provide comprehensive standard Policy & Procedure template documentation for use within the client organisation. These templates are essential to any SAM implementation.
Best Practice Documentation - Insight will provide in-depth documentation detailing advice on industry best practice for SAM.
SAM Training Workshop - The SAM training workshop will consist of a one day event that will take place at Insight’s premises. The training will fully describe industry-accredited SAM practices and provides the opportunity to ask questions and share information.

obtain a License Authorization number with their first minimum 10-seat
purchase (media not included)
When a volume
license purchase order is placed, a customer will receive a CD-ROM and
a License Certificate, listing the number of licenses, along with a
master license code, that have been purchased.
Maintenance Program Option
The
Datawatch technical support organization has a primary goal to help
customers with comprehensive Maintenance and Technical Support options.
The objective of the Maintenance Program is to increase and streamline
the customers report mining productivity, while facilitating their
business objectives.
Datawatch will
provide support for an unlimited number of calls, free product updates,
and product upgrades with the purchase of maintenance for Monarch or
Monarch Pro.
Maintenance Agreements must
be purchased within 90 days of the volume license purchase. The term of
the program is for one year from date of purchase.
Academic and Government Discounts
The
Datawatch VLA Licensing Program is available for the educational and
government industries. Educational institutions include: an accredited
primary, secondary, or preparatory school, high school, college or
university. To qualify for a government discount, an organization would
need to be a Federal government department, agency, entity, or
education institution.
